Valu Champions Financial Inclusion with Flexible Solutions for RoboGarden Egypt’s “Learn to Earn” Initiative

Valu, MENA’s leading financial technology powerhouse, has partnered with RoboGarden Egypt, an AI-powered EdTech platform, to support the national “Learn to Earn” initiative. The program aims to equip Egypt’s youth—particularly women, people with disabilities, and underserved communities—with in-demand digital skills through accessible, hybrid education models.

By offering flexible payment plans and subsidized tuition, Valu ensures that high-quality digital training is within reach for learners from all walks of life. The company will sponsor 20 students across five training cohorts held at Valu Café, providing a 50% discount for four participants per group.

Lamise Negm, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of RoboGarden Egypt and Advisor to the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority, emphasized the deeper societal impact of the initiative:

“This program isn’t just about digital literacy—it’s about dignity, inclusion, and access. ‘Learn to Earn’ opens doors for those who have historically been excluded from the tech economy. Women, people with disabilities, and youth in remote areas now have a chance to build careers without compromising their personal circumstances. This initiative reflects a powerful partnership between the private sector and civil society to create a more inclusive digital future.”

“Learn to Earn” provides a comprehensive learning journey, combining self-paced content, live virtual sessions, and hands-on workshops. It offers pathways in high-demand fields like web development, with certification awarded upon completion of at least 75% of the program.

“At Valu, we see financial technology as a bridge—not just to products, but to opportunities. Our partnership with RoboGarden Egypt extends our mission beyond commerce and into community upliftment. By making skill-building affordable, we’re investing in people’s futures and contributing to a stronger, more competitive labor force.” Walid Hassouna, CEO of Valu, commentedز

Engy El Sabban, CEO and Co-founder of RoboGarden Egypt, shared ambitious plans for the initiative: “With the support of partners like Valu, we aim to train over 1,000 learners by the end of 2025. The early results are encouraging, and we believe this hybrid education model will play a critical role in reshaping Egypt’s workforce. Skills-based training is key to closing the employment gap and preparing our youth for remote and tech-driven jobs.”

Recent studies indicate that nearly 60% of Egyptian university graduates face difficulties entering the job market.  The “Learn to Earn” initiative directly addresses this gap—delivering scalable, practical, and inclusive solutions that align with Egypt’s national development goals.
