EDA Chair Discusses Policies for Updating Pharmaceutical Registration with Drug Sector Representatives

The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) held an important meeting today, chaired by Dr. Ali El Ghamrawy, Head of the Authority, to discuss the updates to the policies surrounding the registration of pharmaceutical products. The meeting also aimed to enhance cooperation with the pharmaceutical division of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.

The meeting focused on several vital topics, primarily revolving around the modernization of pharmaceutical registration processes. These updates are crucial to ensuring the continued flow of pharmaceutical products into the market and ensuring the availability of medicines for the local population. Yasser Waked, Board Member and Head of the Veterinary Medicine Committee.

Representatives from the Egyptian Drug Authority included Dr. Hanan Amin, Head of the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Products, Dr. Amani Gad, Deputy Head of the Authority, Dr. Osama Hatem, Deputy Head for Policies and International Cooperation, and Dr. Hamada Gamal, Deputy Head for Registration Systems Development and Head of the Registration Department for Human Pharmaceuticals.
