The Ministry of Social Solidarity announced establishing Egypt’s first comprehensive education centre for children with special needs and disabilities, in cooperation with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), and Cavendish Company, a provider of special needs education.
The initiative, which will launch at the New Administrative Capital, is expected to expand to other governorates. Its goal is to promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities into society by providing equal opportunities through a specialised education system.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, key stakeholders discussed the provision of training, technical support, and human resources for the proposed centre.
