The Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, has highlighted the remarkable growth of the environmental sector in Egypt during the current administration’s tenure under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
According to Yasmine, the government has accorded top priority to environmental challenges and has taken necessary measures to address them.
Fouad highlighted the progress made in Egypt’s environmental sector, which has seen significant growth due to President Sisi’s attention, assistance, and ongoing monitoring of environmental issues over the past decade.
The political leadership’s unwavering support and recognition of the importance of integrating the environmental aspect into all development sectors of the Egyptian state have also played a crucial role in this success.
The minister stated that Egypt has taken rapid steps towards sustainable development and enhancing investment opportunities in the environment.
She mentioned that Egypt will continue its efforts to achieve more in terms of environmental policies and green transition.
