CBE: Egyptian Banks to be Closed Next Sunday in Celebration of June 30

The Central Bank of Egypt has announced that operations in all Egyptian banks will be suspended on Sunday, June 30, the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.

Amwal Al Ghad reported that normal banking operations, temporarily suspended on Sunday, will resume on Monday, July 1, ensuring a smooth transition back to regular business.

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly also issued a directive declaring Sunday, June 30, as an official paid holiday for ministries, government departments, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.

It is worth noting that examination activities will continue during this period in accordance with their scheduled dates, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made. This decision has been made to mark the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
