Omar Attaby: The cooperation with China is based on mutual understanding, sharing, and achieving common interests for both parties
The forum was attended by more than 200 senior groups of economists, representatives of Egyptian and Chinese companies, ambassadors of Arab countries in Egypt, in addition to representatives of Egyptian intellectual and cultural centers, and representatives of industrial and commercial organizations.
Eng. Omar Attaby, CEO of Attaby Consultancy, conducted a session on “Prospects of Cooperation in the Field of Infrastructure Construction between Egypt and China” in the framework of the forum’s activities.
Eng. Omar Attaby expressed his happiness to participate in this event. He emphasized on the role of Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in achieving great development in a record period in the infrastructure sector, saying: “Through our experience in providing various engineering consulting services for more than 40 years, we can confidently say that the Chinese-Egyptian partnerships proved a remarkable success, as the economic relations between Egypt and China have clearly increased over the past years. China is one of Egypt’s largest trading partners and an important strategic ally, especially since the cooperation with China is based on mutual understanding, participation and achieving common interests for both parties
Attaby added: “The infrastructure engineering consultancy and the construction sector is one of the promising sectors in Egypt , and I expect in the future to sign strong strategic partnerships with China that will achieve profitability for both parties. Currently, Chinese companies have many opportunities to increase their investments in Egypt, especially in the field of new and renewable energy, as Egypt is currently building (22) new cities with big investments.”
He also stressed on the impact of advanced Chinese construction technology and testing it on ground, in Attaby Consultancy’s business fields : study and planning, architecture, sustainability, industrial, urban planning, and smart cities, pointing out that Egyptian companies follow the same approach by applying modern and advanced technologies to their projects, which leads to raise the efficiency of workers and increase the production and the quality control a, which is a part of the Egypt’s sustainable development objectives as well as Egypt’s long term vision on 2030
The forum comes within the framework of discussing aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the economic and investment sectors, as well as current and future projects in partnership with China in the areas of infrastructure, new energy and the automotive industry.
