Yasmin Fouad Discuss with a Mission of WB the Activity of Developing Skills & University Curricula

During a recent meeting, Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad engaged in a detailed discussion with a mission from the World Bank (WB) on the specific strategies and plans for the development of skills and university curricula.

This discussion was part of the comprehensive efforts to enhance skills as outlined in the first component of the project titled “Managing Air Pollution and Climate Change in Greater Cairo.” The primary objective of this project is to enhance the decision-making processes related to air quality.

This statement was made during the scheduled meetings of the World Bank’s mission, which were convened to conduct a comprehensive review of the project.

During the meeting, Fouad discussed the importance of accrediting environment experts and integrating them with the Ministry of Environment’s accreditation and registration system. He emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the system of qualification and appointment of individuals within the environmental sector.

Fouad elaborated on the significance of this integration in ensuring a more robust and effective framework for environmental expertise and oversight.
