The Women’s Committee at the Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists announced a series of seminars through its weekly salon on the role of Egyptian women during the Glorious October War.
Speaking at the symposium will be Major General Dr. Nasr Salem, former head of the Armed Forces Reconnaissance Service, professor of strategic sciences, and one of the officers participating in the wars of attrition and October 6, and Dr. Siham Ezz El-Din Jibril from Al-Arish, an active member of the National Council for Women, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, and Head of the General Administration of Information in the North and South Sinai at the State Information Service.
The first seminar will begin today, September 26, at precisely 5:00 p.m. at the round table on the third floor of the union’s headquarters, entitled “The Role of Sinai Women in the Glorious October Victories”.
