The “Shaghalni” company announced yesterday the opening of the first Shaghalni employment/recruitment center in the Sohag Governorate. The company is partnered with USAID’s Business Egypt program and has support from Engineer Naguib Sawiris. Engineer Naguib Sawiris and Yomna Mostafa, Chief of the Party for USAID’s Business Egypt program, were among the attendees at the event.
The CEO of Shaghalni, Omar Khalifa, stated: The opening of the first Shaghalni employment center in Sohag, which is set to open on January 1st, signifies the start of a network of centers that will eventually span all of Egypt’s governorates.
He continued by saying that the center posts job openings and requires applicants to complete an application and schedule an interview with a recruiter there. They will be appointed right away if they are approved. He mentioned that thousands of jobs in the food, automotive, real estate, and other industries for technicians, administrators, and customer service representatives will be available at the center.
Moreover, the center provides financial inclusion services, women’s empowerment, and training programs for job seekers. He reiterated that the goal of choosing the Sohag Governorate is to give thousands of young people in the governorates of Upper Egypt employment opportunities.
Chief of the Party of the Business Egypt program Yomna Mostafa expressed her happiness about the collaboration with “Shaghalni,” which offers genuine job opportunities to young people in Upper Egypt. She underlined that the goal of Business Egypt is to generate employment opportunities for women and young people, particularly in the cities of Upper Egypt. Business Egypt’s target sectors include information technology, logistics, the green economy, and the creative and cultural industries.
