Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah Release Details About New Transit Visa

In efforts to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from all over the world to perform Umrah, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the full details of its new transit visit service for those arriving by air.

The ministry listed the benefits of the visa as follows:

• Performing the Umrah

• Visiting the Prophet’s Mosque

• Issued free of charge and directly when booking through Saudi Airlines or Flynas

• Visa is valid for up to 90 days

• Includes four days of accommodation

• Facilitates movement between kingdom regions and cities

You can book a transit visa for a visit through the following steps:

• Book a flight and submit a visa application through the electronic platforms of Saudi Airlines or Flynas to obtain a transit visa for a visit.

• Processing and issuing the visa along with the travel ticket through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs unified national visa platform.

• Emailing the visa to the beneficiary after it has been issued.
