Rania El-Mashat: Egypt looks Forward to Boosting Cooperation with Saudi Arabia in all Fields

Egypt is eager to enhance collaboration with Saudi Arabia across various sectors, as stated by Planning and Economic Development Minister Rania Al-Mashat. The minister expressed appreciation for the close and longstanding relations between the two Arab nations and their people during a meeting with Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Saleh bin Eid al-Hasini.

During the meeting, they discussed methods to strengthen economic connections between Cairo and Riyadh. Mashaat emphasized Egypt’s commitment to improving the investment environment and expanding opportunities for local and international private sectors, highlighting the pivotal role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development across all sectors.

The minister conveyed gratitude to the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) for its support and financing of development projects in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030. She also highlighted a diverse array of cooperative initiatives with the SFD, encompassing ventures in areas such as health, education, supply, irrigation, electricity, transportation, agriculture, and housing.
