The Aswan branch of the National Council for Women is actively pursuing the promotion of economic and social empowerment. The primary objective of their efforts is to implement the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, which was launched by the esteemed President Sisi. Their focus is on providing support and resources for the “Haya Karima” presidential initiative.
Dr. Hoda Mostafa, the Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in Aswan, has announced the commencement of the second phase of financial education training. This training aims to promote the economic empowerment of women. The awareness-raising training programs have been carried out in various villages, including Benban and Al-Tuwaisa of the Kom Daraw Center, and Faris and Fatirah villages of the Kom Ombo Centre, in partnership with the esteemed elders of al-Azhar al-Sharif.
The Council Branch is engaged in various activities aimed at promoting positive outlook methods, organizing debates on population issues, underage marriage, reproductive health, female genital mutilation, and proper upbringing of children.
