NCW Grateful to President El-Sisi for Appointing 34 Female Judges at First Instance Courts, Prosecution Offices

Following Republican Decree No. 294/2023, the National Council for Women (NCW) expressed gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the chairman of the Supreme Council for Judicial Bodies for appointing 34 more female judges as class “B” chairpersons in the first instance courts and public prosecution offices.

NCW Chairwoman Maya Morsy expressed her joy at this action, which shows President El-Sisi’s deep belief in the significance of women as vital contributors to community-building, in a statement on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

According to the council chief, the decree also attests to women’s success in this field, which allowed them to advance to higher positions. He also thanked the Supreme Judicial Council, Minister of Justice Omar Marawan, and Attorney General Hamada El-Sawy for their work in support of issues related to women’s empowerment.
