Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council of Women and the Misr El Kheir Foundation’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ali Gomaa, signed a cooperation protocol between the Council and the Misr El Kheir Foundation on Thursday, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Rifai, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, aimed at the economic empowerment female breadwinners, providing them with job opportunities and helping to establish start-up companies.
Maya said: “This fruitful partnership is concerned with empowering women who are economic breadwinners. Today we are planting a tree of goodness, which is new hope and goodness in a period full of challenges, just as the goal of the initiative that was launched is for goodness to be present in every home and village throughout the Republic,” pointing out the importance of the solidarity of all the various organizations and bodies to achieve this noble goal that benefits the Egyptian woman and the family.
It is noteworthy that several commitments have been agreed on by the “Misr El Kheir” Foundation and the National Council for Women, to implement the terms of cooperation, in a way that contributes to providing decent job opportunities for the beneficiary women, after completing the necessary training programs and assisting them in forming startup companies and marketing the products of these companies.
