In statements on the sidelines of the eleventh meeting of the Arab Women Organization, the President of the National Council for Women and President of the Arab Women Organization, Dr. Maya Morsi, confirmed that the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip led to the killing of thousands of defenseless civilians, doctors, paramedics, wounded, women, and children.
The head of the NCW added that the gathering of Arab women leaders in the meetings of the Arab Women Organization showcases women’s efforts to support the Palestinian cause.
She stated: We hope that international humanitarian law will take its course in this hideous humanitarian crisis that Palestine is going through in the present time and that truth triumphs because the victory of truth is a victory for Arab history and identity.
The minister reaffirmed that the organization currently aims to improve the conditions of Arab women and enhance their role and empowerment in all Arab countries through cooperation with the relevant organizations and providing all means of technical, technical, and other support to achieve this goal.
Morsi pointed to South Africa’s step to file a case against Israel in the International Court of Justice and accuse it of committing the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip, explaining that it is a prominent step in the path of the Palestinian issue.
