Hala Al-Saeed Asserts the Government Supports Entrepreneurship, Startups & SMEs

Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala Al-Saeed, emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and the growth of startups as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

She mentioned that the government is making significant efforts to establish an appropriate environmental system to support these startups.

During her address at the opening of the 11th edition of the Rise Up Summit, hosted at the Grand Egyptian Museum under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, she made the following statement.=

The event was graced by the presence of several ministers, businessmen, and entrepreneurs. It was highlighted that the ministry has been actively supporting entrepreneurship as part of the implementation of Egypt’s 2030 vision.

The government is collaborating with various institutions, the private sector, and civil society to formulate proposals for state reform plans. It is emphasized that the state’s structural reform initiatives are centered around three key sectors: communications and information technology, industry, and agriculture.
