Egypt’s Sarah Samir Earns Gold Medal at World Weightlifting Championships

Olympic champion and member of the Egyptian weightlifting national team, Sarah Samir, won the gold medal in the 76kg snatch event at the World Weightlifting Championships in Saudi Arabia.

Samir, who weighed 76 kg, won the gold medal in the snatch competition at the World Championships by lifting 108 kg. Moreover, she ranked second at the 81kg International Olympic Weightlifting Federation.

The Chinese player claimed first position with a total of 275 points, placing Sarah in second place with 268 points.

It is worth noting that Sarah also took home three gold medals at the recent African Championships in Tunisia.
