The Minister of Emigration in Egypt, Soha Gendy, has issued a call to those individuals who are interested in participating in the initiative of importing cars for Egyptians living abroad. The Minister urges interested parties to promptly register through the electronic application. It is advised to take advantage of this current opportunity to secure their rights to bring a car to Egypt.
This comes within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Emigration which aims at meeting the needs of the Egyptians abroad and boosting their link with their homeland. Gendy pointed out to the possibility of resuming registration measures for the Egyptians who did not finish their registration.
As part of the Ministry of Emigration’s overarching strategy, an effort is underway to address the needs of Egyptians residing outside the country and to strengthen their connection with their homeland. In this regard, Gendy has highlighted the possibility of restarting registration procedures for those who are yet to register.
The Egyptians Abroad Initiative is due to end on April 28. Anyone who wants to participate in this initiative and has not yet participated must quickly register through its e-app. Retain the right to obtain a car and to receive it in Egypt without any fees, customs, or taxes in exchange for a 5-year dollar deposit, determined according to the type of each car. The deposit will be refunded after the expiration of the period in Egyptian pounds at the time of refund.
