Egypt’s Imports of Diesel Oil Up by 58.8% in 2022

The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said Egypt’s imports of diesel oil jumped to $3.5 bn in 2022 against $2.2 bn in 2021.

In a statement on Sunday, CAPMAS said Saudi Arabia topped the list of diesel oil exporters to Egypt during 2022, with exports reaching $1.5 bn.

Kuwait came in the second position with $931.9 M, followed by the UAE at $530.2 M, India at $ 420.9 M, and Greece at $111.5 M.

Egypt’s production of diesel oil hit 10.9 M tons in 2022 against 9.7 M tons in 2021.
