EgyptAir, IATA Discuss Air Transport’s Developments in Arab Region

Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Yehia Zakaria met Kamil Al-Awadhi, the Regional Vice President for Africa and the Middle East, at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on Friday to discuss the latest developments in the air transport industry in the Arab region and the Middle East.

Additionally, they examined aviation security and safety, as well as the role of EgyptAir with the goals of IATA to advance air transport traffic.

The two sides reviewed common issues and developments in the air transport industry in the Arab region and the Middle East and the challenges facing airlines, including high fuel prices and their impact on corporate revenues.

The meeting also tackled future indicators for the advancement of airlines to develop the air transport industry.
