On Friday, August 25, Egypt’s Social Solidarity Minister, Dr. Nevine El-Qabbaj, met with the Chairman of the Arab Pilgrims Motawifs Company, Mohammad Majini, and his accompanying delegation to discuss preparations for the 2024 Hajj season.
El-Qabbaj asserted that the Ministry of Social Solidarity makes a lot of effort to serve the pilgrims and facilitate performing the Hajj rituals.
The minister added that the distinguished service provided by the Ministry to the pilgrims through Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) attracts citizens to join it.
It’s worth noting that during the past Hajj season, over 22,000 citizens applied to perform the Hajj through the Hajj of NGOs, while the prescribed quota for the Hajj of NGOs was 5,250 pilgrims, which reflects the great confidence in the Hajj of NGOs.
