EGYPS 2023 GLOBAL Equality in Energy Awards Ceremony Recognizes EIE Awards Winners

 

The third and final day of the 6th edition of EGYPS, sponsored by President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, featured the Global Equality in Energy Awards Ceremony. At the ceremony, Petroleum Minister, Tarek Al Molla, awarded the winners for their contributory roles in equity and diversity in the energy industry.

Among the award’s entries were employees from NOCS, IOCs, and technology and solution providers for their noteworthy contributions to the global energy market while proving outstanding leadership skills, constant success on both personal and professional levels, and notable capabilities in achieving career progress and harnessing the working environment.

During the ceremony six winners were selected for three award categories:

In the Women in Leadership category, Shahira Osman, Regional Branded Workshops Channel Manager at Chevron, was announced the winner, and Omnia Bekheit- Investment and Financial Planning General Manager at ANOPC was awarded as a highly commended finalist.

On the other hand, Eng. Marwa Maghraby, Process Engineer at ENPPI, was named STEM Star of The Year. Meanwhile, Mariam Shreif, an Imperial College student, was announced as a highly commended finalist.

Eng. Lamees Sultan, Offshore Site Engineer at BP, was announced as the winner of the EX-GEN Female of the Year award, which was accepted on her behalf by her mother. Maureen Amir, the Completions Engineer at BP, received the highly commended award.
