Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Counselor Hafez Abbas, issued a decision to form the “Women’s Affairs Unit” and report to the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution and defined its powers as follows.
- Preparing a database on female members of the Administrative Prosecution, and documenting their data and information.
- Preparing development indicators for the positions held by female members of the Administrative Prosecution.
- Nominating female members of the Administrative Prosecution to attend relevant official events and events, after taking the opinion of the Judicial Inspection Department.
- Representing the Administrative Prosecution in conferences, seminars, and official events held by the authorities concerned with women’s affairs.
This decision comes in light of the vision of the Chairman of the Commission and his belief in consolidating the role of women in judicial work and their effective role in assuming leadership positions in various departments and units.
