Counselor Amal Ammar Honored for Outstanding Leadership by Dina Abdel Fattah’s Forum

Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women (NCW), received Dina Abdel Fattah, Founder and Chairperson of the Top 50 Women Forum, at the Council’s headquarters .  Ammar was honored by Dina Abdel Fattah, Founder and Chairperson of the Top 50 Women Forum, in recognition of her inclusion in the 2024 list of Egypt’s most influential women. The ceremony, held at the Council’s headquarters, was attended by Eng. Nermeen Abdel Fattah, Managing Director of the Forum, and Nevine Hassib, PR Account Manager. The accolade reflects Counselor Ammar’s longstanding dedication to advancing women’s rights, promoting legal reform, and driving institutional change to support gender equity in Egypt.

With a distinguished career in the judiciary and public service, Counselor Ammar has played a pivotal role in shaping national policy on women’s empowerment. Under her leadership, the National Council for Women has expanded its outreach, implemented impactful legal awareness campaigns, and advocated for stronger protections against gender-based violence. She has also championed the inclusion of women in decision-making positions across sectors and contributed to Egypt’s alignment with international frameworks on gender equality.

During the meeting, Counselor Ammar expressed sincere gratitude for the recognition and praised the Top 50 Women Forum for its role in amplifying the visibility of influential Egyptian women. She emphasized the importance of creating spaces for intergenerational dialogue, mentorship, and showcasing successful female models to inspire the next generation. Discussions also focused on future collaboration between the NCW and the Forum to further develop joint initiatives in support of women’s leadership and socioeconomic empowerment.

The 2024 honorees were selected based on the results of a specialized survey conducted by the Top 50 Women Forum and Amwal Al Ghad magazine. The selection process applied rigorous criteria centered on achievement, leadership impact, and professional excellence in both public and private sectors.
