CBE: Egypt banks to close Sunday 1st Jan. for end of fiscal year
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Tuesday27/12/2022 that banks will be off on Sunday, 1st of January, on the occasion of end of the fiscal year.
CBE added in a statement that work at banks will be resumed on Monday, January 2, noting that Friday and Saturday are the weekend of banks operating in Egypt.
