Benha University, under the patronage of the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, hosted a Pink October celebration focused on women’s health and early detection of breast cancer. This event was part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative for human development, titled “A New Beginning for Building the Human.”
The celebration included a seminar featuring lectures on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, methods of detection, symptoms, self-examination techniques, risk factors, and treatment options. The event also highlighted Benha University’s participation in the presidential initiative for women’s health, which aims to provide breast examination services and screening for non-communicable diseases to women over the age of 18.
By raising awareness about breast cancer and providing accessible healthcare services, Benha University is contributing to the overall well-being of Egyptian women.
