From July 19 through September 30, 2025, New Alamein City will once again serve as the stage for one of Egypt’s most dynamic contemporary art experiences: the second edition of the “ART SPACE” Festival. This ambitious visual arts program promises to transform the city’s public and cultural venues into a vibrant arena for immersive, interactive, and contemporary artistic exploration.
Backed by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, “ART SPACE” 2025 continues its mission to connect the public with modern artistic movements in innovative, engaging formats. From large-scale installations to digital media exhibits and interactive workshops, the festival aims to bridge the gap between creators and audiences, transforming art into a participatory experience.
“This is about creating dialogue between art and the public,” said one festival organizer. “ART SPACE is designed to be democratic, accessible, and cutting-edge—an open invitation to explore the creative pulse of our time.”
Festival highlights will include:
- Interactive visual installations spread across New Alamein’s urban core
- Art exhibitions from emerging and established local and international artists
- Live workshops in multimedia, digital art, and conceptual practices
- Public panels and artist talks focused on the role of art in urban and social transformation
The open-air and summer-long nature of “ART SPACE” provides an atmosphere rich in energy and experimentation, aligning perfectly with New Alamein’s identity as a next-generation city designed for both innovation and leisure.
Positioned at the intersection of culture, urbanism, and tourism, “ART SPACE” reflects Egypt’s larger strategy to place art and creativity at the heart of its urban transformation agenda. “It’s not just about exhibiting art—it’s about reshaping how art is experienced,” the organizer added. “New Alamein is the future, and art is central to that vision.”
With its compelling program and coastal charm, the 2025 edition of “ART SPACE” is poised to become a cornerstone event in Egypt’s contemporary cultural calendar, attracting audiences from across the country and beyond.
