Xiaomi 13 Ultra Arrival with Next-level Nano-skin Design

News Agencies

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has finally been unveiled. It has a new Leica Vario-Summicron lens, and the main shooter will bring the 50MP 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor. The other three cameras have 50MP IMX858 imagers – still large and promising.

The back of the phone will keep the huge circular island from the 12S Ultra, while the front will be a new C7 LTPO OLED panel developed jointly by Xiaomi and China Star. It will have a 1,440p resolution and a maximum peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

There are two beautiful finishes in white and green, but along with the design, there is a lot more to know about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The phone comes with what could be the world’s most advanced OLED screen and it takes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 performance to the next level with a first-of-a-kind cooling solution for gamers.

The previous model had one cool feature which was a special coating that prevented finger smudges from accumulating on the screen.

This new model would be even better, Xiaomi promises. The company worked with display maker China Star to create the C7 screen panel, which hits a record-busting 2,600 nits and allegedly has a better viewing angle and lower screen power consumption than the Samsung E6 display panel that you find in the best smartphones currently.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is launching with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, being the most flagships this year, and as the chip is the best thing that has happened to Android, Xiaomi wants to make the most of it.

The list of new features continues with a new emergency battery-saver mode. When enabled, it will stretch 1% of battery life to 12 minutes of talk time, or it can ensure your phone will not die in the next 60 minutes.

Xiaomi also teases improvements to the antennas for the “strongest signal experience in the history of Xiaomi mobile phones,” thanks to a dual-wing antenna group.

The massive, 1-inch type sensor for the main camera is the star of the show, but it’s also impressive how Xiaomi manages to use the same sensor and ensure perfect color consistency across the other cameras as well.
