Social Solidarity Minister Nevine El-Kabbaj announced the names of winning mothers in the “Ideal Mother” competition for 2023 nationwide.
The competition’s criteria stipulate that a mother should consolidate human values among her family and promote family values. She also should maintain the cohesion and interdependence of her family. The ideal mother should also keep a balance between her responsibilities, instill in her children high moral values, and take good care of them.
The minister’s announcement came at a press conference on Thursday, March 16; she listed the ideal mothers who participated in the contest and met the competition’s criteria across Egypt this year.
March 21 marks Mother’s Day, and on this special occasion, Egypt has a tradition to honor ideal mothers to appreciate their roles in family and community.
