SODIC has officially announced its strategic partnership with the AUC Innovation Hub to promote innovation within the real estate sector. The collaboration will engage the university community, students, faculty, and entrepreneurs, while addressing key industry challenges through sustainability, prop-tech, and digital transformation.
The partnership, marked by the signing of the agreement between Dr. Dalia Abd-Allah, Senior Director of AUC Innovation Hub, and Ahmed El Halawany, Chief Development Officer of SODIC, will include a series of initiatives such as innovation hackathons, policy dialogues, design sprint workshops, and mentorship programs. These initiatives aim to provide students with practical learning experiences, while enabling the development of impactful solutions for the real estate industry.
El Halawany expressed pleasure about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with AUC Innovation Hub and engage with the start-up community to drive meaningful change in Egypt’s real estate sector. The company has introduced initiatives such as Sakneen, a prop-tech platform for enhancing digital sales, TileGreen, which produces eco-friendly interlocking tiles made from recycled plastic, and Taqatak, specializing in renewable energy solutions.
The AUC Innovation Hub, dedicated to fostering creativity and experiential learning, supports students in gaining real-world experience in emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Digital Transformation, and Sustainability.
