Under the patronage of Dr. Maya Morsy, the Social Solidarity Ministry launched a comprehensive training program today aimed at enhancing the institutional and leadership capacities of its employees. The event took place at the Institute of National Planning and is part of the project “Enhancing the Institutional and Human Capacities of the Ministry of Social Solidarity (MoSS)”, implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and supported by the European Union, in coordination with the Ministry’s General Administration for Talent Management and Development.

The program was officially inaugurated by Ms. Randa Hanna, Director General of the General Administration for Talent Management and Development. She highlighted the program’s objectives and key pillars, emphasizing its role in strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing human resources efficiency, and empowering staff to translate plans and policies into effective practices that better serve vulnerable and priority groups.

The opening session was attended by Ms. Noha Hamdy, Technical Coordinator of the MoSS capacity-building project, and Dr. Ahmed Saad, CEO of NI Consulting Company, the Egyptian consultancy supporting the program’s implementation.

The initiative targets the development of leadership and managerial skills for 150 Ministry employees and staff from affiliated entities, divided into six training groups. The first phase will begin with two groups and covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

  • Personal and leadership skills development
  • Strategic management and change management
  • Crisis and disaster management
  • Human resources management and capacity building
  • Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity
  • State-building issues, sustainable development, and Egypt Vision 2030

Designed to enhance institutional readiness, the program aims to improve the Ministry’s performance, strengthen service delivery, and support Egypt’s broader sustainable development goals.

NI Consulting Company, with extensive experience in national and international capacity-building and institutional training projects, is providing technical expertise. The company has a strong track record of collaborating with Egyptian government entities, development partners, and international organizations, ensuring high-quality delivery of internationally funded programs.

This training initiative reflects the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s commitment to modernizing its workforce, promoting good governance, and equipping employees with the skills needed to respond effectively to evolving social challenges.
