Social Solidarity Min., NTA Executive Director Convene Talks on Leadership Development Cooperation

Mona Yousef

Dr. Maya Morsy, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity, met with Dr. Solafa El-Goueli, the newly appointed Executive Director of the National Training Academy (NTA), and Dr. Taher Nasr, the academy’s Deputy Executive Director, at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting was attended by Ayman Abdel-Mawgoud, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Dr. Mohamed El-Okaby, Assistant to the Minister of Social Solidarity.

Expanding Strategic Cooperation

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Training Academy, focusing on expanding joint initiatives in leadership development, institutional capacity-building, and public-sector transformation.

The two sides reviewed progress on the “Advanced Leadership Skills Program for Senior Officials at the Ministry of Social Solidarity” — now in its second edition — conducted under the umbrella of the “State Leadership School”, a flagship initiative implemented by the NTA to build leadership competencies across Egypt’s government institutions.

Developing Future Leaders of the Egyptian State

The program includes a comprehensive curriculum that covers:

  • Effective leadership and team management
  • Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making
  • Change management and institutional transformation
  • Communication and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Foresight, innovation, and future planning

The training blends academic modules with interactive and experiential learning, encouraging participants to apply strategic and creative thinking to real-world governance challenges. It supports Egypt’s long-term vision for administrative modernization and human capital investment.

 Ongoing Partnership Commitment

At the conclusion of the meeting, both Dr. Morsy and Dr. El-Goueli reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration between the ministry and the NTA to advance leadership excellence, institutional performance, and sustainable national development.
