The National Council for Women has recently held a grand ceremony to honor the partners and participants of its flagship program, “She Leads.” The event, held under the auspices of the Ministries of Education and Social Solidarity, celebrated the significant strides made in empowering young Egyptian women through skill development and entrepreneurship.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Maged Osman, a member of the council and chairman of the Egyptian Telecommunications Company, and Dena Hussein, a council member and head of the youth committee.
The “She Leads” program has been instrumental in transforming the lives of thousands of young women enrolled in vocational education. By providing them with the necessary skills and resources, the program has empowered them to become self-sufficient and contribute to Egypt’s economic growth.
In this regard, Dr. Maged Osman emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in driving social change. He highlighted the program’s success in fostering collaboration between government agencies, the private sector, and civil society organizations.
on her turn, Dena Hussein underscored the transformative impact of the program on the participants. “The ‘She Leads’ initiative has not only equipped young women with technical skills but has also boosted their confidence and aspirations,” she said.
