Season 2 of “Shark Tank Dubai” Highlights Women Entrepreneurs

The second season of Shark Tank Dubai, has put the spotlight on dynamic women entrepreneurs who are turning personal experiences into innovative business ventures. Their creativity, determination, and expertise have captured the attention of the show’s investor panel, underscoring their growing influence in Dubai’s entrepreneurial landscape.

The show is a testament to Dubai Media Incorporated’s (DMI) ongoing efforts to empower women, encouraging their participation in diverse sectors, fostering their brands, and driving their role in the nation’s future development.

With fierce competition at its core, Shark Tank Dubai features entrepreneurs vying for investment to turn their groundbreaking ideas into successful businesses. Lebanese entrepreneur Nayla Haddad, founder of the cotton clothing brand One of a Kin, secured a deal with the investors. Similarly, Palestinian-Canadian entrepreneur Muna Rahim, founder of CrACKLES Sweets and Candies, impressed with her unique line of treats aimed at both children and special occasions.

Other standout entrepreneurs include Emirati Nazpari Azari, who raised Dh800,000 for her spreadable food brand TAPENAZ, and Syrian entrepreneur Hiba AlHourani, whose fashion line, Hiba Hourani Clothing Trading, focuses on uniforms designed for modern lifestyles. Rasha and Dina, co-founders of Kyu, pitched eco-friendly handbag designs that caught the investors’ eyes.

French entrepreneur Charlotte de Belle introduced Vertical Design DXB, the first studio in Dubai specializing in custom LED and neon lights. Omani entrepreneur Salima Jumaa Al Daudi showcased her brand, Avin, offering plant stem cell-based anti-aging products. Meanwhile, Saudi nutritionist Maram Murad, along with partner Hanan Koushek, launched Boochai Kombucha, a health-focused drink brand, alongside fermentation workshops.

Lebanese Dr. Zina Attar introduced NutriKeto, a keto diet-friendly brand, while Indian entrepreneur Priya Prakash pitched Health Set Go, a business offering multi-vitamin sweets tailored to modern health needs. British entrepreneur Shona Hind, with her Free Me Company, presented a line of chemical-free, skin-safe mosquito repellents with pleasant fragrances.

The show’s investor panel also brings a wealth of expertise and diversity, featuring five accomplished businesswomen. Emirati entrepreneur Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of Sales and Development at DAMAC Properties, and Noor Sweid, a top tech investor named one of Forbes’ top 50 women in tech, are among the key panelists. Other investors include retail mogul Sima Ved, founder of Apparel Group, beauty industry leader Mona Kattan, and e-commerce pioneer Mona Ataya, founder of Mumzworld.

Sarah AlJarman, Senior Vice President of Channels and Radios at DMI, stressed that supporting women is integral to DMI’s strategy to promote economic development. She also highlighted the success of Shark Tank Dubai in attracting innovative female entrepreneurs and providing them a platform to showcase their ventures. AlJarman reaffirmed DMI’s commitment to nurturing leadership and entrepreneurship among women.
