Dr. Lobna Khalifa, Women’s Secretary of the Reform and Development Party, discussed the role of women in the labor market and their contributions to economic development. She stated that the party organized a seminar to honor working women and shed light on their role in economic empowerment.
Khalifa added, in statements via “Extra News” channel, that the seminar addressed the importance of the role of working women, as they are a fundamental and important element in society and a true partner in development. She emphasized that they create stability within and outside the family, and honoring them today is not merely symbolic but a recognition of their active role in building a better future for society.
The Women’s Secretary of the Reform and Development Party pointed out that one of the party’s main pillars is the economic empowerment of women. She noted that their primary goal is to raise awareness and economically empower women. They had a project titled “One Village, One Product,” which trained women on enhancing financial inclusion and savings programs, resulting in very positive outcomes, including reducing unemployment rates and benefiting women from small and medium-sized enterprises by 60%.
