Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat stated on Saturday that International partnerships have provided $7 bn to the private sector during the last three years, including $2.6 bn in 2022.
Her remarks came during a meeting organized by the American Chamber of Commerce with a delegation of investors and businessmen from Cyprus and Greece.
Mashat added that the framework of international cooperation and development financing for Egypt is built on years of collected experience.
The discussion tackled the framework of international cooperation, collaborative ties among all development partners, and the efforts made to support the country’s development goals through concessional and mixed development funding.
According to her statement, the Ministry of International Cooperation is establishing collaborative strategies with all development partners, including USAID, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the European Union.
It is worth noting that the World Bank Group recently approved the joint country strategy 2023-2027, and work is currently underway to launch the strategic framework for the partnership for sustainable development with the UN for the next five years, she added.
