Hosted at the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo’s 6th of October City, the qualifiers will see Egypt’s national team compete against four other teams, with all eyes on star player Raneem Elgedawy.
At 28, Elgedawy is a seasoned veteran for Egypt, having been part of the national team since 2015. Known for her dominant presence in the paint and ability to influence the game on both ends of the floor, she will be pivotal in leading Egypt’s charge for the AfroBasket spot.
