Prof. Dr. Suzan Al-Qalini Appointed Rapporteur of the Arab Union for Development’s Women’s Committee

Counselor Khaled Abed, President of the Arab Union for Development, has appointed Dr. Suzan Youssef Ahmed Al-Qalini as the rapporteur of the Women’s Committee in the Union. Dr. Al-Qalini, a member of the Arab Union for Development, represents the “ONPASSIVE” company and has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to media and development.

She is a professor of media and an academic advisor to “ONPASSIVE,” a leading company in artificial intelligence. Additionally, she serves as a member of the National Council for Women, where she acts as the rapporteur of the Council’s Media Committee

Notably, she is the first female dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, where she founded the Media Department and is a member of the Supreme Council. Dr. Al-Qalini is also a member of the Information Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and has chaired the Advisory Board of the Afro-Asian Women’s Union.

Dr. Suzan Al-Qalini, in her new role, is dedicated to the Union’s mission of empowering Arab women. The Union aims to keep women updated on the latest digitization, automation, and smart technological transformations in small and medium enterprises.

It also focuses on enhancing their skills in utilizing artificial intelligence techniques to streamline commercial projects and their electronic marketing, thus enabling them to compete globally. Dr. Al-Qalini stresses the importance of transitioning from traditional projects to digital ones while preserving the spirit of Arab culture and heritage.

The Union, under her guidance, conducts workshops and awareness campaigns for women to develop and enhance their skills and competitiveness.

Dr. Suzan Al-Qalini expressed her gratitude to the Arab Union for the recognition and trust placed in her, affirming her commitment to working diligently to achieve the Union’s goals and elevate the role of women in Arab society.

The National Council for Women also extended its congratulations to Dr. Suzan Al-Qalini for her latest achievement. Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the Council, expressed her happiness and pride in Dr. Suzan’s appointment, emphasizing her wealth of experience in women’s affairs and her potential to enrich the position with her exceptional leadership.
