According to Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly’s statements earlier today, ExxonMobil is seriously considering an expansion in the Egyptian markets shortly.
The Egyptian Prime Minister made his remarks following a meeting between the PM and ExxonMobil Senior Vice President Loic Vivier, headquartered in the US.
Tarek El-Molla, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, attended the conference as well.
On his part, Vivier emphasized the company’s impressive investment intentions for Egypt.
Production from an oil exploration well controlled by the company in Egypt, according to El-Molla’s statements, is anticipated to begin soon.
