Nevine Mansour joined the Ministry of Finance in October 2018 as an Adviser to the Vice Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policies. Since then she has been playing a leading role in developing and promoting the investment environment of Egypt and implementing reforms especially on the macroeconomic and the debt policies fronts. Nevine has served as the focal point for foreign institutional investors in the debt market and led several projects such as the inclusion of Egypt in the JPMorgan Index and the Euroclearability of Egypt’s debt instruments. In her capacity, Nevine supervises and oversees the initiatives taken by the government to enhance the exports and attract FDI’s. Nevine has been appointed as an Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance since October 2019. Nevine is currently a Board Member at the Egyptian CSD which is the new depository for the government debt instruments. Nevine is a professional economist and investment banker with more than 23 years of applied experience. She worked as a senior business development manager in HSBC covering Egypt and Levant from February 2012 to February 2016 and as a Business Development Manager in Beltone Financials from May 2010 to January 2012. She worked at the Egyptian Stock Exchange from March 1999 to April 2010 and was heading the Market’s Development Unit as well as the International Relations Unit in addition to managing the Research Department. She started her career in June 1998 as a junior Economist at the Ministry of Economics.  Nevine earned her MBA from Maastricht Business School in 2009 and she has a Bachelor degree in Economics in 1998 from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
