Orange Egypt has announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind digital gold trading service in collaboration with fintech platform mnGm, becoming the first mobile operator in Egypt to offer such a service. The feature is now available exclusively via the My Orange app, with seamless payments through Orange Cash Wallet.
This new service enables both existing and new Orange customers to buy and sell gold starting from just EGP 5, with an added incentive of up to EGP 100 cashback on their first monthly purchase of EGP 500 or more. The cashback can be used to pay phone bills, top up credit, or renew mobile plans.
Simple, Secure, and Fully Digital
Designed to offer a streamlined digital experience, the new service allows users to complete gold transactions entirely online, anytime and anywhere. Users simply access the mnGm offer in the “Cashback Offers” section of the My Orange app, verify their identity using a national ID photo and their Orange Cash PIN, and then select their desired gold amount or package.
After submitting the request, users receive a transaction summary via SMS with full purchase details and payment confirmation prompts through Orange Cash Wallet.
