For advancing inclusive employment and economic empowerment across Egypt, Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsy, speaking on behalf of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, inaugurated the “Forsa Hayah” (A Life Opportunity) Employment Forum at Cairo International Stadium. The forum, launched by the Haya Karima Foundation in partnership with CARE Egypt for Development, aims to deliver more than 7,000 immediate job opportunities for young men and women throughout the country.

The event is organized under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, in close coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. With the participation of 82 private sector companies, the forum serves as one of Egypt’s most comprehensive job-matching efforts to date, targeting young people across all governorates.

Dr. Morsy toured the event’s expansive grounds, meeting with company representatives and job seekers, and reviewing employment offers tailored to diverse skill levels. In recognition of their contributions, she honored the forum’s organizing partners and volunteers in a special awards ceremony.

Delivering the Prime Minister’s message, Dr. Morsy conveyed his appreciation for what he described as a “powerful embodiment of the New Republic’s values—where employment, empowerment, and equity form the pillars of national progress.”

“This forum is not simply an event—it is a reflection of Egypt’s future-focused leadership,” Dr. Morsy said. “We are not handing out charity. We are offering justice through opportunity. These 7,000 jobs represent 7,000 new beginnings for Egyptian youth—each one a building block for a stronger, more resilient Egypt.”

She emphasized that the “Forsa Hayah” initiative is a natural extension of the Haya Karima (Decent Life) initiative, which began by transforming infrastructure in rural areas but has since evolved into a multidimensional social development program. “What we see today is the next phase—empowering people economically, changing lives at scale, and turning social protection into social progress.”

Framing the forum within the broader Egypt Vision 2030 framework, Dr. Morsy stressed that employment is not a privilege but a right, and that inclusive access must be guaranteed irrespective of geographic or social background. She praised the collaborative model, noting that the alignment of civil society, private sector, and state institutions demonstrates Egypt’s “true national strength—its unity and shared purpose.”

“You are the goal of every policy, every initiative, every law we enact. Today is not the finish line—it is the beginning. Do not underestimate this opportunity. Egypt is counting on you to turn these chances into lasting success stories. Keep learning. Keep striving. This is your time.”, she said.

The forum is expected to draw thousands of participants over several days, offering on-the-spot hiring, resume workshops, and vocational guidance—each designed to translate potential into progress.
