Ola Shafay was one of the founding members of “Youm 7” in 2008 and has held various roles within the newspaper until her appointment as the Executive Editor-in-Chief.

Ola Shafay holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Journalism, and she has further enriched her knowledge through academic studies, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema, specializing in the Scenario department.
She has contributed her talent and expertise to various renowned newspapers, including Al Ahram, Al Hayat, and El Watan.
In addition to her remarkable print journalism contributions, Shafay has also made a mark in the broadcasting industry. She has served as the Editor-in-Chief of several TV programs on Dream, Al Hayat, and ON TV channels while presenting TV and radio programs.
Her exceptional achievements led to her appointment as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al Ahram in 2018.
