OIC Releases Weekly Report on Israeli Crimes Against Palestinians

41,931 Palestinians have been killed by Israel from October 7, 2023, to September 16, 2024, with 101,113 wounded. In the Gaza Strip alone, 41,226 Palestinians have been killed and 95,413 wounded during the same period.

The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has recorded approximately 184,293 crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians during this time.

During the period from October 7, 2023, to September 15, 2024, 255 commercial facilities and 572 homes were demolished in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds. Additionally, Palestinian property was attacked and confiscated 1,231 times in the West Bank and Al-Quds, including the confiscation of heavy vehicles and money.

Between September 10-16, 2024, the OIC’s observatory documented 21 Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 238 Palestinians and 621 injuries. Notable incidents during this time include the Al-Mawasi massacre, where 40 Palestinians were killed and 60 were wounded, and the Al-Jaouni School massacre, where 18 people were killed including six UNRWA employees.

According to Sada el Balad Students in the Gaza Strip continue to be deprived of education, while students in the West Bank face harassment and prevention by the Israeli authorities and settlers. The occupation forces have closed schools and assaulted students in various locations.

In the West Bank, 12 Palestinians were killed, and 195 others were arrested during the past week. The occupation forces continued to impose a siege on hospitals and obstruct ambulances in Tulkarm and Tubas. The occupation forces demolished 13 houses, burned six houses, and converted another house into a military barracks in the West Bank.

They also demolished a car wash and a car showroom in occupied Al-Quds, and demolished commercial facilities in the West Bank. Settlers also seized the Petra Hotel in Al-Quds and threw its furniture outside. Settler attacks over the past week included uprooting, cutting down, and burning 101 olive trees in different locations and stealing livestock in various villages.
