As part of Egypt’s broader national agenda to advance gender inclusion in governance and civic life, the National Training Academy (NTA) has officially launched its flagship program “Women Lead”—a tailored leadership initiative targeting members of the “Hanfeedhen” (We Empower Them) platform.
Participants in the first cohort include Manal Allam, Mai Salah, Alya Omar, Fatma Ahmed, and Hind Ibrahim—each of whom is undergoing intensive training designed to elevate women’s leadership capacity within Egypt’s governorates.
Women’s Leadership in Action
“Women Lead” features a dynamic mix of specialized workshops, policy dialogues, and executive training sessions. The curriculum is focused on enhancing practical leadership and administrative competencies .By launching “Women Lead,” the NTA seeks to develop a sustainable pipeline of female changemakers who can drive meaningful transformation within their communities. This approach aligns with Egypt’s national development strategy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), placing women at the center of inclusive growth.
