Bank NXT has announced the launch of “Tamkeen”, marking a major milestone as the first banking program in Egypt exclusively designed to finance women entrepreneurs, with funding of up to EGP 20 million.
The program is designed to support women-led businesses through preferential interest rates, a flexible repayment period of up to five years, and a comprehensive package of financial and non-financial benefits tailored to enterprises at different stages of growth.
Flexible Financing Tailored to Business Growth
Under the Tamkeen Program, women entrepreneurs can access financing of up to EGP 20 million, enabling them to expand operations, strengthen working capital, and invest in long-term growth. The program offers a repayment period of up to 60 months, providing businesses with greater flexibility to manage cash flow and financial planning.
To enhance affordability, Bank NXT offers preferential insurance costs for companies with annual revenues ranging between EGP 1 million and EGP 50 million, helping reduce the overall cost of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises. For larger businesses with annual revenues between EGP 50 million and EGP 200 million, the program features competitive preferential interest rates aimed at supporting scaling and market expansion.
Reduced Costs and Easier Access to Banking Services
As part of the program’s value proposition, Bank NXT provides a full exemption from administrative fees on guaranteed financing, easing the financial burden on participating businesses. In addition, women entrepreneurs benefit from a waiver of account opening fees, enabling faster and more cost-efficient access to banking services.
Advisory Support and Strategic Non-Financial Benefits
Beyond financing, the Tamkeen Program delivers a tailored package of advisory and non-financial services designed to meet the evolving needs of women-owned businesses. These services support stronger governance, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.
Participants also gain access to the advantages and services offered through the Nilepreneurs Initiative, which focuses on fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and SME development across Egypt.

To support daily business operations, the program includes employee salary transfer services, allowing companies to manage payroll efficiently while integrating employees into the formal banking system.
