It is specified that 28 states and 13 regional and international organizations had sent planes carrying aid for Palestinians.
Nearly 100 cargo planes carrying humanitarian aid have landed at the airport in El Arish, Egypt, located north of the Sinai Peninsula. Khaled Zaid, the head of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society branch in North Sinai province, said.
“As many as 96 planes have landed at the airport with humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza,” he was quoted as saying by the Sada al-Balad news portal.
Zaid specified that 28 states and 13 regional and international organizations had sent planes carrying aid for Palestinians.
The head of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society branch in North Sinai informed us that 81 cars with humanitarian cargo were sent to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint last evening.
As of now, according to Zaid, a total of 650 cars have entered the enclave to help the people of Gaza.
Some time ago, the Director General of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society Rami Al-Naser stated that the humanitarian aid which had been sent to Egypt from different countries and organizations for its further delivery to Gaza was running out.
He urged all states to continue airlifting supplies to Egypt for the people of the Palestinian enclave.
