The Damietta branch of the National Council for Women organized a free workshop on creating accessories with beads and precious stones.
The workshop, led by volunteer trainer Nada Ragheb, was thoughtfully designed to be easy for beginners, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their skill level, felt welcomed and valued.
Fifteen girls and women from the women-friendly city attended the training, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
The training aimed to help participants master the skills needed to start their own small projects using simple and innovative methods.
Mona Abdullah, a branch member and supervisor of the council’s activities in the women-friendly city, explained that the workshops will continue every Monday until training on all types of accessories is completed.
The initiative is under the auspices of Dr. Manal Awad, Governor of Damietta, and Dr. Maya Morsi, President of the National Council for Women, and is supervised by Marwa Nabil, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in Damietta.
