The National Council for Women organized “Al-Masria” Exhibition on the sidelines of the activities of the twenty-first regular meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Women Organization and the eleventh meeting of the Organization’s Supreme Council currently chaired by Egypt, over three days.
The “Al-Masria” exhibition included products made by women from different governorates of Egypt and varied between leather and wicker products, embroidered and printed bags, coasters, wicker Aswani dishes, amigurumi dolls, and decoupage dishes.
Moreover, the exhibit showcased products from women trained in the project “Addressing the Economic Drivers of Illegal Migration” implemented by the NCW in partnership with the European Union. It included macramé products, printing and embroidery on textiles, copper accessories with precious stones, and home accessories made by women from Luxor, Gharbia, Beheira, and Minya governorates.
The exhibition also included Sinai embroidered products made by women trained by the council within the framework of the national project for Egyptian family development to enhance their capabilities to raise the standard of living for themselves and their families.
