The National Council for Women’s branch in Sharkia Governorate, headed by Dr. Aida Attia, organized a training program to train women in the villages of Hayah Karima on how to manage large kitchens, prepare banquets, and produce ready-made meals for small projects under the title “Matbakh El Masreyya”.

Dr. Aida Attia, Rapporteur of the Sharkia branch, said that this comes within the framework of the national project for the development of the Egyptian family. The initiative aims to train 30 women from the villages of “A Decent Life” in the Husseiniya Center daily until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

It is noteworthy that Matbakh El Masreyya is a community kitchen with a sustainable development dimension based on providing training and craft production opportunities for women by utilizing their skills in cooking and preparing meals to become professional chefs.

In addition, the program seeks to provide ready-made meals to the most deserving families as one of the outputs of this training.

The female trainees will receive training at the hands of one of the most Skilled chefs in Egypt to learn about the methods of planning, ordering, preparing and preparing food for large banquets and ready meals, methods of calculating economic quantities, adherence to food quality standards, and planning for the workforce to assist in the kitchen.
